A 1,000 strong mob of extremist Sunni Muslims attack Ahmadiyya Mosque in Dulmial town of district Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan, it has been reported.
As of this filing, the attack continues and, according to Ahmadiyya sources, attackers are firing into Ahmadiyya premises and the mob is hurling stones at the building.
The Ahmadiyya mosque in Dulmial came under attack, according to Ahmadiyyas, in an attempt to seize the property by the extremists Muslims.
The attack comes on the heel of a police-organized attack on the Ahmadiyya community headquarters in the town Rabwah on December 5th which has drawn worldwide condemnation for the Punjab government's hard-handed tactics against the Ahmadiyya community in Pakistan.
Dulmial village is located approximately 150 kilometres south of the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
